She stopped to think, “Was it dark or were her eyes closed?” She tried moving her hands in front of her face to see if she could see anything; nothing, just darkness. She heard a noise and began to back away only to bump into something. She turned around and felt the object to find out what it was. There were rows and rows of books, from what she could feel. Footsteps drew nearer and near. With each step they became louder. Kal stood absolutely still hoping they wouldn’t detect her. The Adventures of KalistaPreface: Selene is the girl in my mind who goes on many adventures… If you are confused what I mean is that I have some pretty interesting adventures in my head and have decided to start documenting the things my mind comes up with. I am creating a character who will play a role in all of these stories, her name is Selene. I got the name Selene from the Greek moon goddess… She tried to restore hope to people after Pandora’s box was opened… and I like the name.
